Notes: Attribution - MS1007 states Neuchatel 1777 Surviving records do not indicate the origin of the 1,544 copies of this work that the STN received on 9 March 1777, but the large numbers and the fact that it was accounted for later under 'nos editions' suggest that it is was an STN printing. However, no 1777 STN edition has been located. Schmidt includes the work in his bibliography of probable STN editions that have not been located. However, the STN never sold the work to the Société Typographique de Lausanne, and only ever sent a handful to the Société Typographique de Berne, though they later bought copies from the Société Typographique de Lausanne. This suggests that the unrecorded IN copies may have been printed in Berne or Lausanne for the STN?. Fauche-Borel Catalogue (1787) also gives a (Lausanne, 1780) edition, and some later sales may be attributable to this edition.
