Edition type (by origin): Place of publication unknown
Author(s): La Fite de Pelleport, Anne-Gédéon
Language(s): French
Publication: n.pl. [?], 1784
Details: 1 volume, in-8°
Notes: Attribution - edition not identified. STN sourced the work in 1784, when first published, although probable that more than one edition published in that year. N.B. Simon Burrows 'A King's Ransom' (2010) and Robert Darnton 'The Devil in the Holy Water' (2010) both independently concluded that the likely author of this pamphlet was Anne-Gédéon La Fite de Pelleport, rather than Morande, to whom it has traditionally been attributed. French police records and Jacques-Pierre Brissot's interrogation records support this conclusion.
